I want to be blunt about what I’m doing here - these reviews are mostly written by AI. I tune the “tone” quite a bit, and you’ll notice a very specific writing style on this site, but it’s mostly AI.

This site started largely as a way to learn how to operate AI agents: how can I string together a long series of AI agents without losing context and dropping information? The whole flow is actually pretty complicated, involving multiple specialized agents digging through the web for each type of content, using a large number of templates for consistency, and keeping track of metadata for each review. It was just meant to be a technical exercise, but the damn things turned out to be pretty funny and I found myself running products I was interested in through it just to read the reviews, so here we are.

I tune the research to weed out marketing fluff and focus on the interesting pieces, largely based on community feedback. If a company has a cute marketing term for a standard feature, it’ll get called out. If it has a shit proprietary component, expect it to be in the research. I check each review before posting, and make sure it’s not spewing BS or fake links, but it’s the AI writing it and compiling the research. I’m hoping the resulting articles are entertaining enough to keep you interested, but we’ll see how it goes.
